Wine Baskets

Without regard to the cause, it will be thrilling if you have one of wine baskets as a gift.

Typically wine baskets can be delivered to the recipient at his/her home or at work.

A variety of wine baskets exists on the market. Some include fruits, while others might include dry or canned foods or nonfood items, or the basket might include a combination of such products. Gourmet gift baskets often contain exotic fruits and high quality cheese, as well as other expensive products.

Wine has a deep history dating back hundreds of years. It is generally made from one or sometimes more varieties of the species of grape, such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir. If one of those grape varieties is used as the dominant grape, the result is a varietal wine. Blended wines are not necessarily considered inferior to varietal wines. Some of the world’s most epicure wines, from Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley regions, are blended wines.

Common fruit items in wine baskets are grapes, bananas, apples, avocados, artichokes, mangoes, lychees, papayas, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, pineapples, strawberries.

Dry and canned foods of a wine basket may consist of bread, cheese, coffee, chocolate, honey, crackers, jam, marmalade, cookies, nuts, soft drinks, tea.

Non-edible goods generally include cash money, greeting cards, flowers, decorative plants, teddy bears.
